My Story

Ekamdeep Singh's father tragically passed away from a sudden heart attack in 2013. Born shortly after Ekam's mother left him and remarried. From day one, his loving grandparents have been his caregivers. His grandfather works as a laborer, and his grandmother, battling diabetes, faces monthly medication costs of $80-$90. Ekam's heart is as big as his love for mangoes and the color pink, and has a special bond with his grandmother. Football is his favorite sport.
